- Healthcare Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Implementation
- Oversaw the deployment for the PBM transition of large health insurer, which successfully transitioned 1.2M members on 1/1/14
- Developed and implemented command center operations plan, cutover plan, contingency plan, and readiness assessments and provided daily executive reports
- Reported on key project items to the CEO, EVPs, and SVPs during the joint executive steering committees
- Private and Federal Exchange Integration
- Engaged by CIO of major metropolitan union to execute its Consumer Oriented and Operated Plan (CO-OP) across three state markets as part of Healthcare Reform. Specifically, coordinated and managed the implementation of the Billing and Enrollment (B&E) workstream, which included such items as developing off-exchange marketplace and facilitating the integration between the B&E vendor, pharmacy vendors, two state exchanges, one federally-facilitated exchange, and claims/ medical management vendors
- Responsible for leading the overall B&E worksteam and complete lifecycle, including vendor management, project plan, requirements development, test plan, user acceptance, integration test, implementation, deployment and operations
- Lead the successful overall deployment for three new CO-OPs that went live On and off-exchange on 10/1/2013 within 9-months
- Developed and managed readiness assessments, contingency plan, transition plan, release management and overall cutover effort for the entire program that went live on 10/1. Components of the release included establishing three new websites, SalesForce deployment and integration, Exchange integration, and customer service operations
- Led a team that conducted cost-benefit analysis and developed a business case for a multi-year, multi-million dollar investment request in support of a national business modernization effort. Assisted client by translating business strategy into optimized business processes and standard operating procedures
- Analyzed the portfolio for a large organization and developed a strategy & roadmap for the client to provide their service offerings internally to their business customers
- Managed an IT performance management effort to conduct a national customer satisfaction survey that focused on understanding the perception of military veterans on the quality of care provided by the agency. Identified opportunities to enhance business operations and fine tune IT capabilities in order to maximize value to end users
- Facilitated multiple large training sessions with 30-50 senior executives on topics such as creating a business case, capital planning, and investment requests processes
- Developed interim state and to-be detailed process designs in support of a global Retail Bank’s initiative to establish a risk management stress testing program that complies with US, Canadian and International regulations

- Offshore Strategic Sourcing and IT Governance
- Evaluated the offshore sourcing and governance model for CVS Caremark and developed a strategy & roadmap for transformation resulting in $10-$15M USD in IT savings for a fortune 25 client
- Assessed the IT Governance current state, defined the target state, and developed a roadmap of prioritized and sequenced recommendations for initiatives to help migrate from current state to target state for a national Bank
- Developed new organization, governance, management, and financial earn back models and structures to support the corporate IT alignment to strategic business objectives
- Growth Strategy and Spend Analysis
- Analyzed corporate IT spending to identify opportunities to improve alignment with industry best practices relating to discretionary and non-discretionary capital and operational expenditure allocation
- Designed a five-year capital planning model for forecasting the financial feasibility of implementing a new enterprise asset management, geographical information system, and service oriented architecture
- IT Portfolio Optimization
- Analyzed and identified opportunities to leverage client’s budgeted capital expenditures and reduce the corporate application portfolio by 33% over 2 years resulting in a cost savings of $13M USD Consulted supply chain fortune 100 client for multiple years, focusing in the areas of project and portfolio management, service oriented architecture, and business process design
- Conceptualized, prototyped, and demonstrated to the CIO and CTO a project and portfolio management solution, which resulted in the sale of ~$400,000 USD

- Conducted cost-benefit analysis by examining historical financial data, which formed institutional knowledge providing the client with the most cost effective strategy for vendor procurement
- Developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a multi-million dollar Business Process Reengineering initiative to modernize the Federal retirement process, which supports 3.2M Americans
